Terms of use
The Active Places Power website is maintained for your use under the conditions laid down in the Active Places Power user agreement (which you must sign and return in order to receive a password). The following general terms and conditions apply (though do not prejudice the terms of the signed agreement). Access and use by you of this website constitutes acceptance by you of these Terms and Conditions that take effect from the first date of use. Sport England reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time by posting changes online.
Copyright and other rights
All material on this website is copyright of Sport England or its licensors ("the Content"). All rights are reserved, including copyright and database right and all other intellectual property rights except for the limited licensed rights expressly granted below.
Content on the website may be reproduced free of charge in any format or medium for personal non-commercial use, or internal use by your company or other business entity not including display to or use by paying customers. This is subject to the Content being reproduced accurately and not used in a misleading context. In particular, none of the text or associated images or graphics must be modified in any way, or separated from each other in any way.
You can use the service on a single CPU at a time and you can print out a single hard copy of any Content. All activities must be conducted manually without the use of automatic software to perform multiple accesses or any other automated processing of the Content.

While we try to ensure that this website is normally available 24 hours a day, we will not be liable if for any reason the website is unavailable for any period and time. Access to the website may be suspended temporarily and without notice.

Hyperlinking to us at Active Places
You do not have to ask permission to link directly to pages hosted on this website. We do not object to you linking directly to the information hosted on our website. Active Places' pages must load into the user's entire window and not into frames on your website. However, we do not permit use of our logo as a link without our prior permission. (Please refer to our rules for using the logo as a link).
Virus protection awareness
We make every effort to check and test material at all stages of production. It is always wise for you to run an anti-virus program on all material downloaded from the Internet. We cannot accept any responsibility for any loss, disruption or damage to your data or your computer system which may occur whilst using Content derived from this website.
Privacy statement
If you are a user with general public and anonymous access the Active Places website does not store or capture personal information, but merely logs the user's IP address that is automatically recognised by the web server. We do not use cookies for collecting user information and we will not collect any information about you except that required for system administration of our web server.
If you wish to be a registered user of this website, you may be asked for personal information through this website in order to take advantage of services such as subscription to specific mailing lists. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If these Terms and Conditions are not accepted in full, you do not have permission to access the contents of this website and therefore should cease using this website immediately.
